- HIBISCUS – The flower is healing. One of the primary benefits of hibiscus for the skin is that it is rich in vitamins A and C and has naturally occurring AHAs. When applied to the skin it can help reduce redness or soreness. At the same time, hibiscus acids promote the production of a protein that boosts cell regeneration and speeds healing. Hibiscus is often referred to as nature’s botox due to its anti-aging properties that can help combat fine lines and sagging skin. It’s also said to help slow down collagen and elastin breakdown which helps skin stay firm and elastic for longer.
First, thoroughly cleanse your face for 1 full minute (no less) – focusing on all your problem areas (blackheads, etc) and continuing to massage your face to get good blood circulation in your skin.
