Patchouli is a well-known oil of the 60’s and 70’s and will forever be associated with hippies! But what many do not know is that patchouli has many benefits for both your skin and your mind! Patchouli blends well with other essential oils and can be found in other soaps we offer, but as a stand-alone oil it has a very complex smell that can be a little different for everyone! It has a unique earthy aroma with a sweet, minty but spicy herbaceous aroma. Did I mention complex? Patchouli is great for your skin and also helps to relax you and your emotions. Care: We recommend that you place your handmade soap on a well-draining soap dish. This will help to prolong the life of your soap by allowing air circulation around the soap. As a result, this creates a harder bar of soap that will also last you longer. Soap naturally has a high glycerin content which is great for moisturizing your skin, but also will attract water. So, if your soap is not able to air dry between uses, it will remain soft.
