FRANKINCENSE RESIN

Frankincense resin creates a strong and beautiful aroma when burned. It is obtained from the Boswellia Balsam.

Frankincense was one of the gifts given to baby Jesus.

“On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:11).”

How To Use Frankincense Resin:

Incense Burner/Diffuser –  

In a tealight or electric burner, place a tiny stainless steel or tin cup on the top of the burner.  After lighting the tealight candle in the bottom, or turning it on place your resin in the cup.  As it heats up your resin will begin to melt slightly giving off a pleasantly sweet scent. This is the method I use, but I place the frankincense directly in the top of the burner. It does get pretty messy after a while, so use a metal cup if you prefer to keep it looking clean!

Charcoal Disc –

We include 1 charcoal disc with your purchase, so you can enjoy your Frankincense Resin right away. In a heat-proof container, hold the charcoal over a flame until it begins to spark.  Place the charcoal onto your dish and you can now add your resin.  As the charcoal disc burns, it will become hotter all around, so be careful not to touch it with your bare hands. You will get one use out of each disc as the entire thing will burn once lit.  You can try to break the charcoal into 2 pieces to try and get more use out of it.
