Want to know how to pamper your feet? Taking care of your body is important, but your feet have it rough and require love too. Ultimate relaxation is the most obvious benefits of doing a foot soak, but research shows that soaking your feet in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes per day can have a positive effect on your mood, energy level, sleeping habits as well as any aches and pains that affect your body. Allowing yourself to soak your feet in hot water also stimulates circulation and helps to reduce swelling.

Step 1. Add the Coastal Mint Foot Salts to a basin or foot spa filled up to your ankles with hot water, or you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil such as Tea tree or Peppermint. The blend of salts and clays in our Coastal Mint Foot Soak will help to draw out stress and toxins, reduce inflammation, soften, smooth and soothe your sore tired feet. The essential oils of peppermint, tea tree and eucalyptus will revitalize your feet and your senses and leave you ready for the rejuvenation you have earned.
Step 2. If you’re feeling extra indulgent apply a Botanical Beauty Mask to a clean face before relaxing into your foot soak. Then Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes. This is a great time meditate, read a book or enjoy a cup of tea.
Step 3. Exfoliate your feet using a pumice stone to slough off any calluses or dry patches. This is a great time to then trim your toenails and push your cuticles back as the nails are softer from soaking. Clip your nails straight across to avoid getting ingrown toenails. Then finish exfoliating with our Turkish Coffee Scrub or our Orange Ginger Scrub, to scrub away any remaining dead skin cells, like between your toes, and allow the beauty oils within the scrub to provide some extra nourishment to your feet. Massage the product into your skin with small, circular motions. Pay extra attention to the areas where your skin is rough, such as the balls of your feet and your heels. Don’t rush the process—if you don’t massage the product into your skin, you won’t achieve the same smoothness you would if you take your time and enjoy the experience. Once finished, thoroughly rinse your feet and pat dry.
Step 4. Moisturize your feet with our Coastal Mint Foot Balm or another one of your favorite balms or massage oils.
