Pumice Stone

Pamper your tootsies with a little exfoliating pumice stone treat. Pumice stones are a hardened lava foam great for exfoliating rough and dead skin cells from the body. Most commonly used on the feet, knees and elbows, your skin will be left feeling smooth and rejuvenated.

*If you have a build-up of hard skin on an area needing treatment, you may need to use it 2-3 times a week until the appearance of your skin improves.

How To Use A Pumice Stone-

Fill a bathtub or basin with warm water. Add a small amount of bath and body oil for extra skin softening, if desired. Soak the problem area for 5-10 minutes. Dip the pumice stone in the warm water and gently using circular motions lightly remove the outer layer of dead skin cells. If it becomes sore, stop immediately, Avoid using on open skin or sore red skin. Rinse off the area and gently pat dry. Massage the area with our moisturizing revive and repair salves to return your feet to a soft and renewed state! To clean the stone, run under clean water and store in a dry location.

Pumice Stones can also be used for your cuticles. Using a damp stone gently soften excess cuticles and hard skin on the hands and around nails, Keep your stone and hands wet the entire time apply gentle pressure. Moisture your hands afterwards.

In Ancient Greek and Roman times, pumice was used to remove unwanted hair. To use for fuzzy hair removal exfoliate the area first with a scrub. Pat your skin dry leaving it slightly damp. With the pumice stone, rub in gently in circular motions until the hairs rub off. You may need to repeat this process a few days in a row. Don’t forget to moisturize when you’re done!

Tip: Keep your bathroom fresh-smelling by adding a few drops of essential oil to your dry pumice stone in-between uses. Pumice stone’s porous nature soaks up essential oils and releases the scent back into the air.
