Organic Calendula Seeds (Pacific Beauty)
These easy-to-grow seeds create beautiful orange and yellow calendula flowers. Their long stems are good for cutting flowers.
An edible annual flower that may self-seed if you don’t deadhead. Sprinkle the petals on salads, decorate a cake, or freeze into ice cubes. They require very little care. Deadhead to keep tidy and encourage more blooms. Prone to mildew – avoid overhead watering if possible.
Requires sun, but will do okay in partial shade too.
Direct sow in the early spring (can tolerate a light frost) through to early summer.
They can also be started indoors in late winter and transplanted in mid-late spring.
In zones 8-10, they can also be directly sown outdoors in early autumn for spring germination.
